I have a love/hate relationship with snow...I mean, I love to wear warm, comfy sweat shirts and drink hot chocolate and snuggle up with a good book or my honey, but I hate wearing socks. My feet feel like they are suffocating and claustrophobic at the same time. Silly, huh?
Also on my mind is the big job of cutting back my 47 rose bushes. I don't like that either. It's like saying good bye to 47 friends until spring comes around again. To see them snow covered and cold is sort of heart breaking. So, I begin today to trim them back and put as many blossoms as I can in a vase to gaze at like the beasts' rose in a glass container till the last petal falls off...Oh, now I am sad. But, at least, my husband won't curse my name as he shovels snow this winter over the rose bushes!
Okay, now lets talk about pumpkins and cinnamon and making Christmas cards. Maybe that will cheer me. And there's a wedding to think about, too. Ah, life just goes on, no matter if you smile or cry!

Judge not
I listened to the most poignant talk tonight by President Thomas S. Monson. It was a talk I would title"Judge Not". This man is 83 years old and has the energy and vigor of a man in his 50's. I was deeply touched by his talk and felt the influence of heaven.
I am going to start posting cards on here just for fun.Since cardmaking is what I do for therapy, I feel obligated to share it with the world(or something like that).

New Things are scary
September 22, 2010
I can't believe that I'm giving this a try. But I keep hearing that trying new things is good for your soul and brain. So, I guess that this is my feeble attempt at holding off alzheimer's. Or something like that. So, here I go!
