April...Amazing!

Well, my lovely intentions have me upon that road to...well, a place where i don't want to be headed. Why the heck is it so hard for me to keep up?
Anyway, I ran into a cool place called Sherry K Designs and they are having a giveaway of Spellbinders dies templates. I don't have any of these but want to try them...so I'm wishing.(Fingers crossed) Here's the link: http://www.sherykdesigns.com/shop/promotions/info_6.html 
Okay, newest thing that I'm trying is Pinterest. Yep, I have jumped on that bandwagon. I haven't mastered the fine art of pinning too well, but, it is amazing what's on there. I could easily get lost there for hours!
Now, on to the accomplishments of my family. Trevor and Andrea have put together a cast of jocular individuals and have formed a comedy sketch group called: OCD. Their first show was great and well attended and I was a proud Mama. I am amazed by the talent in my kids. Not surprised, I'll say, but, amazed!
Paul just finished his 1st triathlon of 2012 this last weekend. He is also amazing! He is an incredibly motivated and dedicated athlete. He came away with a really cool medal and tech shirt, but, more than that, an increased confidence that is fun to watch him develop. He has a list of what to improve on, but, to me, there was so much improvement already. I am extremely proud of him...and he looks pretty appealing in his tri suit!
Kenna and her Drew will be graduating from BYU soon. They have been working so hard and Drew has been accepted in a masters program at the U of U. Dare I say amazing again? 
Sarah will be graduating soon and then she will be off to BYU. Again, amazing!
Ty's in his own place and working hard! Amazing things are happening for him!(Finger's crossed!)
Katie is amazing on the violin!
My little Aimee is doing so well on the piano, even though she has only been playing for less than a year! 
And me, I need to be as amazing as my crew! And more faithful in keeping this blog updated...

Friday the 13th....and other myths

Well, I am back again! I love Fridays and I love that my girls are home from school today. The sun is shining and the sky is blue! I'm ready for great things to happen!

It's going to be a busy weekend. Drill competition for Sarah, training for Paul(my Mr. Triathlon), some serious shopping, stamping, and running for me. Yep, back into the run. I don't go far and I don't go very fast, but I go. I'm hoping that it counts for something and maybe changes the generous contours of my body. I hate running until I do it. I don't have the intense, fanatical dedication and motivation of my husband or my Sarah. I have to PUSH myself to do it. But, I like to think that I'm doing fantastic for me. I'm hoping that I will fend off the family heritage of diabetes etc... So, if you see me out there moving at my turtle pace, just giggle to yourself and cheer me on.

Hello Kim, it's 2012

Wow! I am so lame! As in uncool. I started this blog as an outlet sort of journaling thing and I haven't been here for 8 months. But, I won't get discouraged. I will make it a goal to post at least once a month. There! I did it! I've committed myself! I will not label it a resolution, because everyone knows how those turn out.....

Anyway, here's a card that I just made for a BRAK group I'm in. I am in love with this stamp which is from a company called Stamping Bella. I love the copic markers too. I am getting brave with them...finally after having them for awhile. It scanned a little crookedly but, as I am new at this whole thing, I won't mess with it.
